Mac Label Printer for eBay/PayPal

Printing eBay/PayPal thermal shipping labels on a Mac, while not officially supported can be done using a Dymo label printer.  Here is how to print both the 99019 and 1744907 labels.

First make sure you download the latest Dymo Label Software for the Mac from the Dymo website, and use it to install and test the printer with the correct size labels.

Dymo 400, 450, Twin, 4XL, to print USPS 2.3"x7.5" 99019 Labels

eBay
To print eBay USPS 99019 labels, unless you have been switched to the new PDF output, use eBay Bulk Shipping, even for a single label. This avoids using the Java Runtime, which is the root of the problem when using a Mac. Click Shipping Labels on the left side menu.  Click the bulk shipping link: Print up to 50 USPS shipping labels at one time.  Click the Printer and Label Receipt Preferences at the top right and select any Dymo printer using the 99019 and Save. Create your label, and when the print window opens make sure the Target Printer is set to the Dymo printer.

PayPal
If you have been switched to the new PDF output, you can print single labels by setting the PayPal shipping label preferences to any Dymo printer using the 99019 label and Save.  Until PayPal clears the error message, this will not work for PayPal’s Multi-Order-Shipping (MOS).

You can also run Windows (Parallels), load the latest Java Runtime, and set the PayPal shipping printing preferences to the Dymo and create and print labels normally. However, this may involve other settings to the Java Runtime, see: Java Security and Java Notes.

If you have an older Mac OS that still supports a version of the Java Runtime, and you can get the label to show up in the preview, but just not print properly, you can print it to PDF or use a Screen Shot to send to the printer as follows:
Set the PayPal shipping label preferences to any Dymo printer using the 99019 label       and Save.
Make sure the Dymo printer preferences are set to the 99019 label format.
Create the label as usual, until the label preview window opens.
Save it as PDF to desktop, or Control/Shift/4 a Screen Shot of the label (auto saves       to desktop).
Next Open in Preview, crop and/or rotate as needed, and Save to Desktop.
Control +P (print), Select the Dymo, and print.

Besides the above workarounds, see below for a solution using 4"x6" labels on the larger Dymo 4XL printer.

Dymo 4XL to print USPS, FedEx, UPS 4"x6" 1744907 Labels

eBay (only)
To print eBay USPS 4”x6” labels, unless you have been switched to the new PDF output, use eBay Bulk Shipping, even for a single label. This avoids using the Java Runtime, which is the root of the problem when using a Mac. Click Shipping Labels on the left side menu.  Click the bulk shipping link: Print up to 50 USPS shipping labels at one time.  Click the Printer and Label Receipt Preferences at the top right and select the Zebra 2844 and Save.  Create your label, and when the print window opens make sure the Target Printer is set to the Dymo 4XL.  Then print the label.

eBay/PayPal
This will work for both eBay and PayPal shipping. Set the printer label format to, Any 8 1/2 x 11 Laser/Inkjet Printer. Turn off Receipts. Create your label, but when the print window opens set the Target Printer to the Dymo 4XL. Next set the Printer//Page Properties Orientation to Landscape, set all Margins to 0.1”, and the Scale to 92%. Then print the label.
